Uphoff Trust dated August 7, 2013 and Timothy James Uphoff, in conjunction with TEP Rocky Mountain LLC, have applied to the Board of County Commissioners, Garfield County, State of Colorado, to request approval of an Amendment to a Land Use Change Permit, Limited Impact Review (File No. LPPA-8677) for a Major Temporary Employee Housing Facility and a Storage Facility, known as the Trail Ridge Employee Housing and Storage Facility. The site is located within the County of Garfield, State of Colorado, to-wit: Legal Description: Township 5 South, Range 97 West of the 6th P.M Section 1:S 1/2 NW 1/4 and the NW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 2: S 1/2 N 1/2 , N 1/2 SE 1/4 and Lots 7 and 8 Section 3: SE 1/4 NE 1/4 and Lots 5, 6 and 7 County of Garfield. State of Colorado Garfield County Assessor Parcel Number: 2137-012-00-001- Practical Description: The site is located north of the Town of DeBeque, CO and is part of a property known by Assessor's Parcel No. 2137-012-00-001. It is accessed by private roads off of Rio Blanco Road 5 and BLM Road 1009A. Description of Request: This is an amendment to a Limited Impact Review Land Use Change Permit for an Employee Housing Facility-Major (up to an occupancy of 24 people and onsite for more than 1 year) and Storage facility known as the Trail Ridge Employee Housing Facility. The facility and storagearea will be operated by TEP Rocky Mountain LLC. The facilities will be located within an approximately 1.5 +/- acre portion of a larger 598.78 +/- acre parcel. The Property is zoned Resource Lands Plateau Subdistrict. The Amendment is requesting a change to Condition #8, Resolution 2016-42 and a Waiver Request for Section 7-705(C)(2)(e)-Wastewater Systems to allow for usage of a wastewater vault and haul system. All persons affected by the proposed use are invited to appear and state their views, protests or support. If you cannot appear personally at such hearing, then you are urged to state your views by letter, as the Board of County Commissioners will give consideration to the comments of surrounding property owners, and others affected, in deciding whether to approve, approve with conditions or deny the request for an Amendment to a Land Use Change Permit.
