INVITATION TO BID JIM CREEK DIVERSION PIPELINE WINTER PARK, COLORADO The Winter Park Water and Sanitation District is accepting sealed bids for the construction of the Jim Creek Diversion Pipeline. The work includes: The installation of approximately 2,900 linear feet of 12-inch diameter pipe. Water diversion structural on the Jim Creek/Fraser Canal Buried meter vault and structure Overflow structure to Fraser River. Sealed bids will be received for the Jim Creek Diversion Pipeline project by the Winter Park Water and Sanitation District at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1540 Winter Park Drive, Winter Park, Colorado 80482, Attention: Kent Bosshard, until 11:00 am, local time, Thursday, May 9, 2019 at which time the sealed bids will be opened and read aloud. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be accepted only from general contractors that have demonstrated experience in the construction of projects of this type to the satisfaction of the Owner and Engineer. The District intends to contract with one general contractor. Hard Copy bid documents will be available Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the office of AECOM, 6200 S. Quebec Street, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. Electronic pdf bid documents will also be available. Contact Amy Pharo 303-740-2640, after 9:00 am for plan sales. Hard Copy bid documents will also be available for purchase at the Office of Winter Park Water and Sanitation District, 1540 Winter Park Drive, Winter Park, CO 80482 on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. There will be a non-refundable charge of $75 for Hard Copy documents. Checks should be made payable to AECOM. All questions should be directed via email to Bill Wemmert, AECOM, at Email Me. A mandatory Pre-Bid conference will be held for this project at 11:00 am. local time, April 30, 2019 at the Winter Park Water and Sanitation District, Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1540 Winter Park Drive, Winter Park, Colorado 80482. The successful bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds, as well as comply with all insurance provisions specified in the project documents. A 5% bid bond will be required and must accompany the bid. The Winter Park Water and Sanitation District reserves the right to waive any irregularities or technical defects in the bidding process as the best interest of the Winter Park Water and Sanitation District may be served. The Winter Park Water and Sanitation District also reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to award any part(s) of the project.
